One question.One answer.The original source.

Bring one typical work question. Using anonymised or explicitly approved samples, we show which file and source passage supports the answer.

Work question

Which variations are still open for Project North, and where is that documented?

Verifiable answer

The sample documents list two variations that have not yet been approved. Before any decision, the original passages are opened and reviewed by the responsible person.

Illustrative example. The interface, document types and review steps are defined for the agreed workflow.

Find, verify and only then act

You are not buying an empty AI server. You receive a clearly bounded document workflow that staff can understand and verify against the original source.

Find instead of searching folders

Ask questions about approved document collections and display the file and source location used for the answer.

Drafts instead of repeated work

Prepare summaries, follow-up questions and email drafts. The responsible person reviews and decides.

Control instead of a black box

Document collections, user roles, data flows and approval points are agreed in writing before use.

One technical core, separate workflows

Construction files and client files need different safeguards. Every demonstration therefore begins with one clearly bounded document collection and a suitable review path.

Tax firms and confidential environments

The first demonstration starts without real client data. Before a practical test, document collections, roles, confidentiality, support access and data flows are defined in writing.

  • Tax assessment and brief search with source locations
  • Summaries prepared for professional review
  • Drafts remain internal until approved
  • Decisions and postings remain with the firm

DATEV integrations and archiving functions are offered only after a separate technical and contractual review.

You know which data are processed and where

Under the agreed local operation, document processing and AI inference run on the customer system. Remote maintenance, backups, telemetry, updates and optional interfaces are documented individually and agreed in writing.

This turns “local” into a verifiable configuration with clear responsibilities—not a blanket marketing promise.

Documented within the agreed project

  • Approved document collections and user roles
  • Data-flow and interface overview
  • Rules for remote maintenance, backups, telemetry and updates
  • Human approval points and agreed acceptance criteria
  • Training, operating documentation and a documented exit

The applicable data-protection, professional and retention requirements depend on the specific use and the customer's organisation. HK-Build does not provide legal or tax advice.

Check for free and introduce it step by step

Free fit check and demonstration. A paid practical test with a clear service boundary follows only if the use case is realistically suitable.

Free entry

€0

  • Fit check for one workflow
  • Demonstration using anonymised or approved samples
  • No production data needed for the first demo
  • A clear recommendation: suitable, use another approach or do not implement

Production setup

from €12,900 excluding VAT

  • Only after your go decision
  • Production configuration, roles and documented data flows
  • Practical-test fee credited in full
  • Purchased hardware and primary data belong to the customer
  • Hardware, licences and add-on modules separate

Optional managed operations: from €1,490 excluding VAT / month

Only when commissioned separately: monitoring, agreed updates, up to four support hours per month, and documented service and recovery routes. The minimum term is then twelve months.

Transparent budget example: Production setup from €12,900 plus twelve months of managed operations from €17,880 equals from €30,780 excluding VAT in the first contract year. Hardware, licences and add-on modules are added only when quoted in writing. The practical-test fee already paid is fully credited within the €12,900.

Local AI, explained clearly

What does local AI mean?

In this offer, local AI means that the agreed document processing and AI inference run on hardware at your premises. External connections, remote maintenance, backups and updates are identified separately and agreed in writing.

Do all data always stay within the business?

Under the agreed local operation, document content and AI inference remain on the customer system. An absolute statement is only possible once remote maintenance, telemetry, external interfaces and backup destinations have also been reviewed and configured accordingly.

Is a local model as capable as major cloud AI?

Not in every case. The model, hardware, concurrent users and document volume are therefore tested with typical cases. Before production, the practical test shows whether quality and speed meet the agreed acceptance criteria for the selected workflow.

What happens after cancellation?

Customer-owned hardware and data remain with the customer. Agreed configurations, workflow exports and operating documentation are handed over. Without a support agreement, monitoring, support and future updates cease; external licences remain subject to their respective terms.

Are DATEV integration and archiving included?

No. DATEV integrations and archiving functions are not part of the practical test or the basic configuration. They can only be offered separately after technical, contractual and data protection review.

Bring one document workflow

We assess whether local AI is realistically suitable. If it is, we demonstrate the workflow for free using anonymised or approved samples—with an answer, file and source location.
